Fear of Science will Kill Us

Just a quick post. This has been going around on Facebook, probably on the blogosphere as well, but I wanted to add it to this blog as well.

Last year Michael Specter wrote a very good book about the growing trend of denialism in this country. I don't know when the paperback version is due to be released (or if it already has), but I recommend reading it. Recently, Michael gave a TED talk on the same subject (available through CNN).
